Inefficient Storage of Maps

Very long time, no post! The old work project is still going, but seems to be in its final phase for real this time. Hopefully I can put up some of that work soon; resolving to draw all year is one thing, but posting is another when NDAs are involved!

Kicking off the new year with a sketch that I made last night during fencing class, because a certain artist may have stressed too hard at the gym two days ago making walking, let alone lunging, pretty sad. The character on the left is still unnamed, which is a new thing for me. I got some great feedback and will be refining her design in the near future.

P.S. You and I know it's the new year. Warm up and stretch well before you work out!

Nice to see you back! I've missed your work out here! You're in my RSS reader and I check out every post.

That character... she does need a name though. She looks kind of Mary-ish to me, but not just Mary... Merry? Mariland? I dunno, but that's what I got looking at her face. :)

And what has she got on that thing attached to her waist? Is she carrying writing implements to work on those maps?

This is really great. I love the sketches. Very nicely done. Thanks so much for the very kind words you left at my blog. Have great weekend.
