The Great Outdoors

I've been in a bit of a funk these last couple of weeks, so my husband recommended that I get outside for a little change of pace.

Here's a (slightly vertically distorted) view from our front stoop.

Late-Night Study Sketch

So the car problem last Saturday turned out to be with the starter; kind of a pricey repair. Combine working more hours to help with that along with a work schedule now in a bit of a crunch, I foresee blog neglection in the near future. We'll see if I'm wrong!

Poor Car

We left the house this morning hoping to get to Hollister for the Renaissance Faire at a reasonable hour so that we could be out early for dinner plans later, but life threw a bit of a wrench in our plans.


We're not really sure what the problem is, since everything seemed to be just fine on Thursday when we last drove. Currently, we are waiting for the tow guys to come so that we can take it to the dealer for a look. Fingers crossed~!
